
- The Police Uplift Programme (PUP) is a collaboration between the NPCC and College of Policing working together with the Home Office to deliver on the Governments commitment of 20,000 additional officers by 2023.
- The uplift will leave a long term sustainable legacy for policing and ultimately, support delivery of our service to the public.
WHAT DOES THIS MEAN FOR ROCUWM?
Over the next two years ROCUWM will be recruiting for many new posts across all of our teams, the Police Uplift Program bring more diversity, more support and more opportunities.
It’s a journey with a big ambition that needs all hands on deck.

THE ROCUWM PUP UPLIFT FOR 2021 COMPRISES 27 POSTS
1, Confidential Intelligence Unit 5 Posts – 1 Sgt plus 4 PCs
2, Intelligence Team 2 (RCIU – Covert Investigations) 9 Posts – 1 DS plus 4 DCs plus 4 PCs
3, Investigations Teams (Operations) 11 PCs
4, Financial Investigations (Operations – RECU)
These opportunities are open to serving officers from West Midlands, Staffordshire, Warwickshire and West Mercia Police Forces. Where possible ROCUWM will try to accommodate agile and flexible working opportunities if suitable for the role.
